I practice Thai massage from my home in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I received the bulk of my training in 2004 from TMC in Chiang Mai, Thailand. During this ten-week/300 hour course, I had the pleasure to not only learn from highly skilled Thai masseurs, but also to teach what I had learned. My certification is accredited by the government of Thailand. TMC is recognized by the American NCBTMB.

In 2004, I also studied at the Old Medicine Hospital. The approach and many of the techniques were different from TMC. I was taught to pray.

In 2006, I returned to Thailand and trained at Lek Chaiya’s Nerve Touch school in Chiang Mai. This taught me another technique entirely, as well as the importance of herbs and atmosphere.

A brief encounter with Pichest Boonthumme has left a deep impression to lead from the heart.

“Sense, feel, not just do do do...”

While I have many interests, from art to commerce... I find Thai massage to be a most thoroughly fulfilling craft. When practiced correctly, the effects are just as beneficial for the Giver as for the Receiver. I am perpetually amazed with both the simplicity of this art, and the vast potential for continued learning. Every element of the preparation and practice of Thai massage proves to be a meditation.
The happiness of my clients is an abundant reward as well.
